Breezy and Beautiful

Westport manages to retain its funky quality against a backdrop of mountains, meadows and marine majesty. It's small and quaint because there are so many hair raising switchbacks and crazy cliffs in between here and there or it would be much more populated and refined. In my opinion it's just right and I brave the roads as often as I can squeeze it into my 'life in the country fast lane'.

Watercolor Mist

It's been a bumpity lumpity kind of day with snippets of sunshine and rain, happy moments and melancholy. I guess rain and miles of piles just do that to ya, but at least my decks are clear and things feel tidy again. So now I'm able to present to you a typical misty Mendocino day done in watercolor and invite you to share my town in its more subtle attire. Sometimes it's this kind of mood that can really get under your skin as you view it, allowing you to glide away into a contemplative head and heart space. Much better than Calgon.
