Breton Country Lane

I've been home for 2 weeks and  have been quite ill. However, I'm still basking in the great memories made in France, both visual and gastronomical! Our first stop was Brittany where my niece has many relatives and we were delighted with the scenery along the coast and throughout the villages. This province is Celtic in origin which is evident by all the stone cottages with their distinctive chimneys. Throughout the 3 weeks in the country, I ate my favorite salad de chevre chaud (hot goat cheese salad) within spitting distance of this scene. I miss that almost as much as the amazing visions like this and the sunflower fields of the south!
