Peek Around the Water Towers

Here's another opportunity to visit my village from an unlikely perch just below the high school. We had a Hungarian foreign exchange student living with us two years ago and I took her to school most mornings. On my way down the hill one day, I made sure the school bus wasn't behind me and stopped my car in order to take this shot. Like I've shared before, this little tiny town is packed with photo and painting ops and I never have any trouble coming up with something to work from. Hurray for such a visual feast!!!!!!!

Another Time

This Mendocino as it was in bygone days. Calm and quiet and bordering on 'sleepy'. A bunch of old wooden houses in a row, saying hello to a sunny summer morning while all the inhabitants are out walking along the headlands or to the market. Such a great place to live and to contemplate creative endeavors. That's the reason that so many of us artsy-fartsy types live here.
