This particular pathway holds many fond and poignant memories for me as well as countless others. This is the path to the Woodbutcher, a cabin made famous by a book titled the same. It is a spiritual place, a reflective place, a rejuvenating place and a place where the journey is as important as the goal.
This is a favorite of my many favorite Erin paintings. I can tell this path is perfect for communing with nature, finding that quiet place within, and absorbing beauty. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour painting definitely LEADS one forward thru that stand of trees! I like the touch of blue on the one tree towards the left. NICE work, Erin!
