This scene is from a cottage in the hamlet of Avejan, about an hour or so from Avignon. The nearest village is Barjac and I was happy to see it featured in a documentary we recently watched called "The French Organic Revolution". It is well worth the watch and you're sure to be inspired in many ways along the lines of health. It has nothing to do with this painting, but how neat to know that an obscure little region in a faraway land has put itself on the map in such a great way! In the meantime, do stop to smell the flowers and sit a spell.
