Is one spot yummier than the other, or are they are all competing for the yummiest? At least the places I decide to visit are all vying for number one and this place is WAY up there. This is the village of Varenna on Lake Como in Italy, right up near the Swiss border. The tall mountains that rise up majestically around the lake create  awe inspiring drama, while the elegant villas that line the waterfront take your breath away. I  have painted this promontory over and over, maybe because I think that possession is nine tenths of the law and I should own it by now.............................
