My husband and I were treated to an elegant Italian dinner at the home of a wonderful couple that had bought one of my paintings. They had a house guest from Italy during our visit and she was responsible for much of its preparation. It was a long wooden table laden with things that were both pleasing to the eye as well as the palette and we savored every single moment and morsel. This was the first course, or Primi Piatti, prosciutto with melon. Stay tuned as soon I will post the painting I did of the second course!
